“As we both packed our bags and left our home towns on the west coast, I never would have thought that we would be destined to find each other in the beautiful city of Montreal.
I left home to find change in my life. Followed my heart to pursue grad school and a new career, but little did I know that that change would be Sarah.
I’ll never forget the day I asked her to be my locker partner… and years later… I’ll definitely never forget the day I asked her to marry me. We got engaged on the beautiful island of Santorini while on a trip across Europe to celebrate our graduation. Private outdoor dinner with the most breathtaking views… followed by the most stunning sunset we had ever seen. The night was perfect.
We wanted to have a wedding that encompassed the magic and beauty of that night. We flew out to LA and our hearts were set on Malibu Rocky Oaks the moment we saw it. The most memorable part of our wedding day was the ceremony, with chairs circling Sarah and I, filled by our families and dearest friends. It was so symbolic of the roles they all played in our lives… surrounding us with their endless love and support. The moment was perfect.
We had the dream team assembled to carry out our big day. Our vendors were absolutely incredible – from an amazing wedding planner who knew every detail of the venue inside and out, to a florist who flawlessly delivered on our vision, to such talented photographers who captured every moment so perfectly – our special day could not have happened without them. We will forever be grateful for that special day in Malibu. The wedding was perfect.
