We truly enjoyed every second with these two!! Their laughter, joy and LOVE is truly apparent in every photograph we captured!! We could’ve photographed for hours upon hours, but the Southern California sun only lasted for so long:) Below are a few of our favorite moments captured during our time together. Kristen: “We met at the University of California Santa Cruz in a friend of a friend situation, at our mutual friend Corina’s birthday party. By the end of a great night we had really hit it off, and we ended up building a fort together in Corina’s living room, where half the party was sleeping anyways. From there, love ensued! We had some great adventures in college, and ended up traveling around Europe together after graduation. Joe proposed on January 21, 2013. We had taken a snow trip to see my family up at Lake Tahoe, and had a relaxing time with family skiing and building snowmen. On the way home, we decided to take the scenic route down the California coast. Joe suggested we stop in Santa Cruz to go to our favorite coffee shop and remember good times in college. As we pulled back onto the highway, coffee cups in hand, Joe told me he really wanted to go to Panther Beach, to one of our favorite spots atop cliffs overlooking the ocean, before we headed back south. Though I was a little tired, I thought it would be a nice ending to a great three day weekend trip, so I agreed. Standing together watching the sun set, Joe turned to me and popped the question! It was the happiest surprise moment that I will cherish for my whole life. This year has been an amazing adventure, with moving in together and preparing for our wedding. We can’t wait to tie the knot in July!”
